Okay I know this is a trivial problem (and is nothing compared to childbirth etc), but shaving your face is really annoying. Like a babies bum, my cheeks (face in this case) are rather sensitive - this making shaving both sore and a pain (in the other cheeks). A way to combat this problem could be to just give in and grow a beard but this can often lead to a “balling” effect of the face. This basically gives the illusion of a fatter, and rounder, face due to a new semi circle of fuzz. If you have the perseverance you can grow past this phase, but I sadly gave in yesterday. Although, you may be happy to know I had quite a pleasant shave.
My flatmate David is currently in this phase, but he seems like he’s going to ride the ginger hair train all the way to beard-town. This may be because he has the stamina, lauren told him to, or because he doesn’t like how “pouty” his lips look without a stubble garden (at this point David will do a pouty kissy thing). But, when he decides to shave again maybe we can ask Ingrid if she would mind doing the honours another time - she did a pretty sweet job.
